With all of the uncertainty surrounding the corona virus, the Children’s Resale committee along with Fairview Missionary Church feel it is wisest to cancel the upcoming Spring/Summer children’s resale that was originally scheduled for April 25, 2020.

As we closely heed the advice and council of medical professionals and government leadership, we will consider the possibility of rescheduling at a later date this Spring. If we feel the situation lends itself to the possibility of such, we will make an announcement through email as well as our Children’s Resale Facebook page with the new date.
We appreciate your understanding of this difficult decision.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. Psalm 91:2-3

The Resale is best described as approximately 125 “sellers” having a high-quality kids clothing and toy resale all at one time, in one place, in FMC’s facility. FMC receives no fees from the Resale; it is not a fundraiser for the church. Each Seller is assigned a number that is on the tag of each item they are selling. Sellers receive 85/90% of the price paid; 15/10% is donated to Compassion Pregnancy Center of NE Indiana

The Resale is organized and run by volunteers.

Approximately 800 “shoppers” come from all over, even from places like Toledo and Grand Rapids. 300 were in line before the doors opened! Of those 800 shoppers, about 750 of them do not attend FMC. The number one piece of literature taken from our literature racks during this event is usually about domestic violence. In fact, we overstock this literature just for this event. The Resale is such a popular event that shoppers are lined up an hour before the doors open.
